I can’t go back to yesterday because I was a different person then.

I’ve spent the last year training to protect myself, but it changed me and sometimes I don’t know who I am anymore or where I’m going.

When I get invited to the most exclusive party of the year, I jump at the opportunity to fall back into my old, party-girl lifestyle for just one night. With the lights flashing and the music pounding, I‘m almost free.

But the Hatter, the Cat, and the Bandersnatch are always watching, and they’ll never let me go.

Tonight, heads will roll.

Mad as a Hatter is the first of The Queen of Hearts Series—a contemporary Alice in Wonderland retelling where the female main character will not have to choose between multiple love interests.

The Queen of Hearts Series is set in the same world as The Gentlemen Trilogy, and follows many of the same characters from those books. While it is not necessary to read The Gentlemen to understand The Queen of Hearts Series, Mad as a Hatter WILL spoil every twist and cliffhanger in The Gentlemen Trilogy. If you intend to read both series, read the Gentlemen first.
