Sebastian, a battle mage, had been turning his corps on its ear for over a year discovering a new magic and weapons. It was all in an effort to make his mage corps more powerful to join the wizards, with their greater magic, and the soldiers of Southwall to stop the Dark Emperor's forces once and for all. Sebastian continues to work to find new weapons and magic for the fight to prevent their enemies from destroying Southwall and its allies, even as new challenges continue in his personal life. He has a wizard for a younger sister, whose power nearly ran wild, a lightning wilder for a girlfriend, who refuses to be ignored, and a team that is slowly being pulled apart. Worse yet, his childhood bully, Magnus, has returned to his life challenging him as a rival when there are more important things going on in the battle mage's world.
